While I was away and letting guest writers post on wanentrepreneur, i was opportune to attend a training course on computer repair. Something struck me in the course of the training. So many people who attended that course wanted to learn website design. Why was that? Because I was able to tell them I was a web designer. And guess what, I am now training people on web design who attended that computer repair training and I am making cool money doing so.
That is what brings me to today’s topic.
What is that stuff you are good at?
Is it web designing or even playing the guitar?
Why not start teaching people on what you are good at.
You don’t need to rent a space, you can always create a space in your home and give one on one coaching, and perhaps if you have more than one person interested in learning, you can always segment your class into morning, afternoon, and evening sections. Just do it the way that suits you.
If you know a hundred people would be interested in what you know, you can go the extra mile in renting a space.
When charging your students, it is up to you, but I did recommend you start by charging them low. As people start recommending you and you have started seeing increase in the people wanting to learn from you, a lift up of what you charge is appreciated.
